2O14 [ni-ou-ichi-yon] takes inspiration from the bestselling novel 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. The author created two series of photographs recreating the novel's sense of unreality and of being in a parallel world.

The book is divided into two parts. In the first part the photographs were taken at night with the lighting of an electric torch and long exposure times. The second part was shot during the day using infrared film. The subject is everyday objects present in children's playgrounds: slides, plastic animals, swings, etc. Filtered through the techniques used, they lose their worldliness and become unknown objects projected into darkness. A journey into a parallel world but also into the depths of the subconscious.
